Spirituality is a broad concept that is based off personal experience creating a system of personal beliefs of something beyond the self, that comes from searching for the meaning of life.
For some spirituality may involve religious traditions centering on the belief in a higher power. For others, spirituality may involve the experience of a connection to a higher state or a sense of inter-connectedness with the rest of humanity and nature.
Meditation is a mental exercise where the practice involves relaxation, focus, and awareness. Meditation is focuses on exercising the mind similar to what physical exercise does to the body. It’s about training your awareness and getting a healthy sense of perspective. Not focusing on trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings. But learning to observe the thoughts and feelings that arise during Meditation.Â
Metaphysics (meta means ‘beyond’) is the study of those things and phenomena that are beyond the physical realm.
Metaphysics is a type of philosophy or study that uses broad concepts to help define reality and our understanding of it.
Metaphysics studies the fundamental nature of reality, the first principles of being, identity and change, space and time, causality, necessity, and possibility.Â
